What a great start to the first day of October. Happy October everyone! So I finally made Christina’s pumpkin flavored oatmeal this morning and it was soooo GOOD!
I saved the rest for lunch which everyone loved the smell of. Once again they were jealous of my lunch…heehee!
When I got home I started right away to making chicken broth from scratch (which I have never done) to make chicken noodle soup. Sam came home early and was yelling for me to look and see that I had a package. It was Soda Stream and I quickly stopped what I was doing to take lots of pictures. It was like a Soda Stream photo shoot.

Erin O’Connor and the really nice people at Soda Stream sent me not only the machine, but 9 different flavors and tiny flavors to add to water. Let me just tell you how cool and amazing this machine is:
- It is really light weight
- Easy to assemble
- Don’t have to plug anything in
- Takes up very little counter space (which is so valuable)
- Comes with 2 great/big bottles with lids
- Fun to use
- Tastes amazing plain or with flavoring
- Earth Friendly
- You can make seltzer water plain or with flavors
- You can make your very own soda with many different flavors
How to use (so easy):
- First take off the back and insert the CO2 cartridge from the the bottom. Just screws in the top.
- Put the back cover on
- Fill bottle with cold water and screw into the front of the unit
- Push the button on the top 3 times (push hard)
Check out my YouTube video of me trying it for the first time!

Fill bottle with cold water. I used the purified water and then put the bottle in the fridge to get cold.

Screw the bottle into the front of the unit

Add some flavor (I used just a half of the cap) or enjoy it plain

ENJOY!!!!!!
WORKOUT
I was so pleased with myself because I made homemade chicken noodle soup and went to kettlebells. Also, I did laundry and cleaned up the house a bit. I did not sit down all afternoon so my feet are sooo tired. Kettlebells kicked my butt tonight, but it was so nice because it was the first time I used 26lbs. and one of the other instructors was really impressed about how much I am going to yoga and kettlebells. She said, “you can really tell we are kicking your butt and you are doing and awesome job.” I was so HAPPY!
DINNER
Chicken Noodle Soup with lots of noodles. I made a huge pot so I will be eating this for a while.

Chicken, noddles, carrots, garlic, celery, onion, spinach, oregeno, and salt and pepper,
PAMPERING
After dinner and cleaning up the big mess I made. I treated myself by doing my nails with the new nail polish I got today. They are two different shades of purple. I couldn’t decide which one I wanted so I got both. My finger nails are a little lighter.
